The District 39 Educational Foundation holds numerous fundraising (and fun-raising) events throughout the year. Proceeds raised from events support the Gripp Grant program.
College Paddle Party
Grab some friends, sport your favorite college-themed gear, and join us for a fun night of paddle! Enjoy great raffle prizes, food, beverages, and some friendly competition. All skill levels are welcome. Similarly leveled players will be matched together in a rotating round-robin style tournament. Don’t want to play paddle, no problem…purchase a “party” ticket! We can’t wait to see you!
Bingo Night
B-I-N-G-O!! The Foundation hosts a family Bingo Night. Kids have a ton of fun playing this classic game. There is excitement in the air as the cards are covered and the kids are sitting on the edge of their seats ready to yell “Bingo!”. Winners select prizes from a table-full of donated games, toys, gift cards, etc. This fundraiser is fun for the whole family.
Trivia Night
The Foundation hosts an annual Trivia Night for the District 39 community. Each year parents, friends and neighbors form teams, come dressed in in their “table theme” and put their heads together to show off their knowledge of random facts. Over 20 tables compete for the awards of overall Trivia Winner and “Best in Show”. “Name that Tune” and “Heads or Tails” are other fun competitions.
