The D39 Educational Foundation is proud to partner with District 39 on a variety of innovative projects and teacher grants. The Foundation recently partnered on a special project to support Social Emotional Learning. District 39 and the Foundation worked together to create short video clips (<60 seconds in length) to help children navigate what they are seeing in social media. These videos were developed in partnership with students, using student ideas, student actors and student voice in their creation. These videos will be shared in group discussions and leveraged via social platforms. The videos are tailored to respond to current events and topics of interest identified by our students, and will be updated as needed for continued future relevancy
