The District 39 Educational Foundation hosted a fun-filled Family Bingo Night on Friday, February 9th. Over 220 game enthusiasts of all ages enjoyed the masterful calling of our MCs, Dave Lundy and Michael Lieber, and had many opportunities to joyfully shout “BINGO!”
Thanks to generous donations from local businesses and participants, lots of lucky winners enjoyed choosing from an awesome prize table. The Big Tomato provided delicious pizza and salad options. Family Bingo Night raised over $4,000 which will help fund new, innovative educational programs and experiences for District 39 students.

The District 39 Educational Foundation’s 8th Annual Bingo Night took place on Saturday, February 26th from 6-8 pm. Due to the COVID pandemic, this was the second year that the foundation hosted the event virtually on Zoom. This popular evening of family fun attracted over 80 families across the district’s schools. Emcees Mike Lieber and Dave Lundy kept players engaged and excited throughout by mixing up games and announcing multiple winners and prizes.
The District 39 Educational Foundation’s 7th Annual Bingo Night — and the Foundation’s first ever virtual event — was held on Saturday, February 6th. Sponsored by North Shore Community Bank, the event looked a little different this year, held on an especially chilly and snowy winter evening when staying home was a blessing.

With winners galore and prizes for all, our sixth annual Family Bingo Night was a blast!
Players young and older packed the Highcrest Middle School cafeteria for an evening of many different bingo games. Families also enjoyed JP McCarthy’s pizza and salads from The Noodle. Thank you to these local restaurants for their partnership.
Many thanks to everyone who joined in the fun and helped us raise money for the D39 Educational Foundation Gripp Grants which provide innovative, outside-of-the-box learning opportunities for students in all six district schools.
