The D39 Educational Foundation hosted its 4th Annual College Paddle Night on November 16th. It was a beautiful night in Wilmette – perfect for paddle and a little friendly competition! Sixty-four participants played in a round-robin style tournament, sporting their favorite college-themed gear. New this year was a “party” option for those who wanted to support the Foundation, but were unable to play. It was a huge success! The event featured more than $5,000 in raffle prizes, and some great food and drinks. We extend a heartfelt thank-you to our generous sponsors, local businesses, and volunteers. College Paddle Night raised more than $8,000, which will fund new Gripp Grants that bring innovative educational opportunities to D39 students.
